I have done some looking on newegg (Limited to them because of credit line) I want the most computer for my money. I have no problem upgrading ram and SSD when money is a bit better this summer. So I was thinking best CPU and GPU I can get. I want this to last 3-4 years. I picked a few from newegg, here they are listed from my favorite to least favorite. I don't have a lot of knowledge on laptops just what I have googled over the past couple days.

Newest find for me (as i was typing this) seems pretty good to me IF HDD can be easily upgraded.
I'm open to other suggestions I can't go any higher than $1000. My original thought's were ~600 so I've made a huge leap (to me) in price.
I currently have a Sony Vio the battery went so I can't use the laptop with the battery plugged in, It has fallen off the couch ~500 times lol the hinge is broken and the screen is not attached to it's frame anymore and It can't handle browsing Brave Frontier wiki (on 2-3 tabs)

I enjoy playing PS1/2 emulators and I like MMO's tho I'm not currently playing one (couldn't if I wanted to) I was thinking of taking some courses on programming (not sure if this should effect my choice) I am a tab whore I have 10 open as I type not uncommon to have more.
I would like whatever laptop to be fairly easily upgraded HDD and RAM wise
Any help is appreciated.
