Best laptop for hard work

am looking for laptob for programming application and work heavy duty and have long batrray charch.

Programming application would not be an example of heavy duty work.

And how long do you need the battery to last doing that hard work?

Kind a like asking for a car that goes 0 to 60 in 5 seconds but gets 45 mpg....the design goals for speed and efficiency are mutually exclusive. Check out the new Optimus laptops which at least handle the GFX problem
