Best laptops for under $600

im looking for a new laptop for around $600. cheaper would be better but i want quality. I'm not looking to do much gaming but would like to have the capabilities. Mainly i watch videos and listen to music....surf the web..etc... I currently have a dell inspiron 1525 and its not bad, but im not totally satisfied. Any thoughts?
