So, I am trying to choose between two machines, and Im mainly concerned with performance and value. I will be using the machine for work purposes, using Zoom and MS Office programs (possibly at the same time), but also to run a DAW (to record instruments for long-distance music collaborations).

The two units Im looking at are:

1) a Dell Inspiron 15 5510 with 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11390H @ 3.40GHz, 1tb M.2, and 16 gb ram. I am not a huge fan of the non centered keyboard, and I do think 15" is a bit large, but both are things that are workable if the performance is better.

2) Lenovo T14 with:
Configuration Details
● Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 5 Pro 4650U Processor (2.10 GHz, up to 4.00 GHz Max Boost, 6 Cores, 12 Threads, 8 MB Cache)
● Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64 preinstalled through downgrade rights in Windows 11 Pro 64
● Display Type: 14.0" FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS, anti-glare, 250 nits
● Memory: 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz (Soldered)
● Hard Drive: 512 GB PCIe SSD
● Warranty: 1 Year On-site
● Graphics: Integrated AMD Radeon™ Graphics
● Camera: 720p HD
● Fingerprint Reader: Fingerprint Reader
● Keyboard: Backlit - US English
● Wireless: 802.11AX (2 x 2) & Bluetooth® 5.2

I understand the screen on the Lenovo, at 250 nits will, in a word, suck. However I don't game at all and stream any TV shows onto my TV at home anyways. Im a little concerned about the Ryzen 5 and its performance.

Any help/input would be appreciated. THANK YOU!
