When I say low, I mean low. I have $400 to spend on a laptop. So the price can't exceed that after tax. This is the laptop I have been looking at:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/14-laptop-4gb-memory-500gb-hard-drive/8850089.p?id=1218914354022&skuId=8850089&st=categoryid

It seems to be a pretty good bargain... 14" Screen w/ 500GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM. There's no CD Drive but that's not a huge loss. Just wondering if anyone knows of any laptops around this price range with about the same amount of power. Please let me know! Any suggestion will be appreciated. (Even if the computer comes with ubuntu or is an obscure off brand)

Edit: I forgot to mention my intentions with the laptop. Mostly for school. I would like to be able to run Netflix in HD and higher resolutions on Youtube. I have a desktop gaming rig so I don't really intend to do any heavy gaming. I would like to be able to play Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and Path of Exile. Anything in that graphic range. In my pipe dream I would like to be able to play Team Fortress 2. But hey, we all gotta dream. If I can't do anything of these things in this price range, no biggie. I just need a cheap machine.

I would stay away from the Asus you originally linked to which has an AMD E2 series APU. They are more or less under powered Jaguar core CPUs. I have read many people complain about the sluggishness of those economy APUs.

As for the "Black HEAVY METAL Notebook for HARDCORE HeadBangers" laptop, it more or less sucks. I would call it a "Easy Listening" / "Elevator Music" fall asleep laptop.

The Radeon HD 7420g is less powerful than the Intel HD 4000 graphics core from the Ivy Bridge generation Intel CPUs. If you have low expectations then it will be fine, but you also need to buy Windows since it does not come with an OS.

I will look around and see if there is a better deal for you. I have two laptops in mind, but they are 17.3" and the price is $400 before taxes.

when you can afford it add another 2gb stick of same ram in the laptop since its cheaper to add a extra 2gb stick this will also put the laptop in duel channel mode which should improve these numbers somewhat
