I'm looking for a gaming laptop for under £1000 that's also no heavier than 2 kilos.

Preferably with:
i5 or i7
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
1920x1080 res screen
15" screen

And i'd like a decent enough NVidia GPU.

The lenovo is a great choice for sure, but doesn't hit the criteria for me. The same with any laptop from CyberPower. I do a lot of travelling and need something with a good amount of performance, but no heavier than 2 kilos.

So the thing is, they're all a little too heavy. I like to travel lightly, so having a lightweight laptop is really important. There are things i'm willing to sacrifice, but having a lightweight machine plus at least a nvidia 750m (or equivalent) gpu is top of the list.

Is there anything with a powerful gpu and lightweight design out there without breaking the bank? Or am i going to have to spend that bit extra?

Think of it this way: your a sniper, and you have a choice between 2 rifles. The first one is 15 kilos, and has good stopping power maybe overkill. Then there's the second rifle, which is 10 kilos. It has effective stopping power and won't weigh down as much, which one do you choose?

You make a good point, and i appreciate the suggestions, but unfortunately i carry some heavy gear when i travel and it's not a lot, but with a laptop on top of that, it's going to weight a fair bit. I can always settle for something a bit heavier, but the lighter the better really.

This is 1.6 kilos, but its 1060 quid, and isn't a fantastic laptop for gaming, good but not the best.

This is 2 kilos and 500 quid but has an i5 and 4 gigs of dedicated gddr3 (gddr5 is faster) ram on video card

I've been at this for an hour now. That Gigabyte is going to be the lightest your going to get so far..
