Best PMP for ~$300

Hey guys, I am looking for a PMP for around $300. I have yet to buy my own PMP, always gotten ones from friends who traded up. The biggest thing for me is that I want it to be internet accessable, AKA wifi. That is the only thing that I will not negotiate on. I also want to be able to play games and watch some movies, but that is just a big want. I am looking primarily at the new iPod 4th gen vs. the archos 5 internet tablet. If you guys can give me information about either that would be great. Or, if you just want to suggest something completely different that would be sweet too. Just completely lost in this area, and thought I would lean on your amazing tech savy to guide me.

Don't overlook Cowon.

Only get Ipod if you can stomach iTunes. I always end up shouting at it. More and more I use my Sony player instead -- simple drag and drop and long battery life.

I have no problem with iTunes actually. I use videora enough that I have no issue converting my movies and stuff to it, and my brother keeps it up to date. But I have been hearing about Cowon, how is it?

Thanks a lot for the help Fihart. Decided on the ipod due to their deal that I can recycle an old ipod and get 10% off the deal. That drives it down to the price that it wins out against its competition.
