Everybody says that there are better options compared to lenovo y510p for single GPU at around the same price. What are those options?

Samsung ativ book 6, thought the y510p will run circles around it. Otherwise going to have to step up budget to at least $1000

Honestly at around $800 the Y510p is your best bet because of the GPU and CPU. (I saw your other post earlier, you said 15" I believe)

I don't know where you got the idea that there are better options at the SAME price. (I really can't find any better options at $800)
For about $900, yes there is in fact better options.

BTW, which model of the Y510p are you referring to? If you're referring to the cheapest model, I can see how some people say that there are better options at that price(Because of the 1366.768 screen and the 5400 rpm hard drive). But those options most likely have a less superior GPU.

hi first of all i like your display picture
secondly, i made a thread asking about a laptop with single gpu and 2-3 people responded saying that there are better options for single gpu at around $800-900 in comparison to a single gpu lenovo y510p (the 1900x1080 model 750m card, not the first one)

Well when they said there are better options, they didn't even name any options. Left me with even more questions which I put in this thread

Here is one link of a person saying that the y510p isn't worth it and recommended one other laptop, but I couldnt find much info on that laptop from customers who bought it..

I don't know much about Sagers, but from reading multiple threads that include Sagers, I've heard good reviews.
That's a great steal, but it's in a different price range than the cheaper Y510p models.
I also noticed that the base price doesnt include an OS (WTH??) So if you want to add a windows 8.1 OS to it, you'd need to pay an extra $80.
Btw, don't forget tax

I went ahead and added to shopping cart on that sager, and after adding windows 8.1 to it with stock hardware, it would be at $1100+ (including tax)
