What is the best option for a college student? Laptop or notebook and what kind do you recommend? Something reasonably priced. Under $300. Lenova, HP, Samsung, Microsoft surface Pro??
He will just be using it for school work, email (no gaming) and I guess we need to be able to put Microsoft word on it? Help!

Microsoft has a student program. Check the microsoft store. They will want a college email with .edu ending or something that proves your really a student and you might also try Dell.

??? I’m sorry that’s not the answer I’m looking for. My son is not in college yet, he’s a senior and I want to get him a little laptop or notebook now for Christmas

as far as i know, microsoft surface pro has high price tags and i cant find anything at $300 price tag. you can specify what model did you see or you could show me where you find that.
