I'm starting my MBA program this September and was wondering what the best option is for tasks such as: taking notes freehand on powerpoint slides, general accounting / productivity apps, general multimedia (movies/music/ebooks).

Top three concerns are responsiveness, battery life, durability.

I have a solid custom built PC at home, and I plan to use Dropbox to sync things I'm working on for both cross platform work and guaranteed backup.

I've played around with a Galaxy Tablet and it seemed to work OK, but I'm not familiar with any of the hybrid products available, so I thought I would ask the community for its opinion.

I'm reading the range goes from $500 for a tablet to $1500 for a touchscreen laptop depending on the exact model and type.....I think I can handle a grand, but its something I'm going to be using for the next 4 years or so.

I haven't played around with the new windows yet but I hear a lot of moaning and groaning....Android I have no problem working with, as long as my MS Office files dont corrupt (sync to dropbox to work around that) and it does what I need it to do. Battery life I think 10 hours or so would be ideal.

Im reading that the Asus Transformer models are pretty good, but are also pretty expensive. Samsung Galaxy tablets get good reviews too, but I'm having trouble narrowing it down. Any suggestions?

Windows Tablets are better ... waaay better than Android .. but they are more expensive.

for 1500$ you can get MANY cool HASWELL tablets that are super fast and give you battery life ...

the Haswel Tablets will be the best. some are released from Sony and Samsung.

dont go for anything but haswell . they are 100% PC and tablet with digitizer.

check the Samsung Ativ Q it is launching this week and is CRAZY beautifull
