betry not charging even pluged in

i have a sony laptop core i 3 model VPCEA16EC not charging from last two days even pluged in betray shows o% when charged removed it automatically turned off plzz help meeeeeee

Batteries do not last forever.
Most likely it is bad and needs to be replaced.
