Also, I am not sure how
4th Generation Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB)
3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor( 2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB)
Compare, but on cpubenchmark they are identical, is this true?

Also, I was listening to a review and it said something about the dual graphic cards in the 510 are 750 and 720 while in the 500 they are both 750? I am not sure how much this matters or if this is even true..

I am looking to be using this laptop to take notes in class, use it for some gaming, want to be able to run any game on normal graphics with 60+ FPS at all times, use MATLAB and other engineering programs with ease.

Any input would be beneficial, also feel free to throw up some more options if you have any other laptops in mind around the 900$ range (rough budget)
