Torn between two laptops

Hi,
I'm looking at spending maximum £650 on a laptop that I can take to college with me and do some gaming on (CSGO, Arma MAYBE and a few others), and I've whittled it down to two laptops.

(I'd get the core I5 model with the 940MX)

Both laptops are the exact same price but I'm struggling to choose between them. The Lenovo has pretty good specs and could probably run CSGO at a decent frame rate, but the MSI is just so much better in terms of raw power because of the Kaby Lake CPU and the 960m. The only thing stopping me from buying the MSI is the avg. 3 hour battery life with minimum use and the bulkiness of the machine.

My question is this:
What would you choose and why?

I'm having a bit of a dilemma and I need some advice:
I'm looking for a laptop for use at college and travelling. I'll be playing some csgo and gtav on it as well, so I'm looking for something that can handle that. It needs to be fairly compact and have good battery life.

I've whittled it down to these two laptops (refurbished):
Inspiron 15 - 7566
- i7-6700HQ
- 16gb ddr4 ram
- 1tb hdd + 128gb ssd
- GTX 960m (4gb)

HP OMEN 15-ax202na
- i5-7300HQ
- 8gb ddr4 ram
- 1tb hdd + 128gb ssd
- GTX 1050 (2gb)

What would you choose? Thanks a lot
PS: The Inspiron costs £100 more than the Omen but it doesn't matter too much.

because you will more use it for gaming then the hp omen is pretty good, mainly because the processor is pretty much enough for gaming and the graphics card is decent but dont expect you can run gta v in maxed out, because gtx 1050 is mid series pascal card. for sure gtx 1050(laptop version) performance is in the middle of 960m and 970m, which means it is stronger than 960m but weaker than 970m
