Solved! Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohms with or without AMP/DAC?

So I wanted to get the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohms for music/gaming/desktop use. Do I need to get an amplifier to properly use the headphones or is my onboard audio sufficient?

I currently own this motherboard: https://www.asus.com/nl/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO-ALPHA/specifications/ (It supports headphones from 32 up to 600 ohms)

Since the mobo supports 250 ohms then you might as well try it. It will sound better with an dac/amp but you may be satisfied without one.
