Bios Password Override for dell laptop E6400 Latitude

Hi... Just wondering if anyone would know if there is a way or code to break the Bios Password for a Dell Laptop E6400 Latitude. My laptop got stollen and the person changed all my info. for my laptop and now that I have it back... I am unsure how to get passed it, any help would be greatly appreciated

You could try a program called ctbios which I found on a German computer site. It helped me a few years ago.

Download and extract ctbios.exe the c:\


At the command prompt type:

ctbios.exe /pw

I had this problem on an E6400 I purchased from eBay. Ugly. I could boot the machine into Windows 7 without any issues. However, the BIOS was locked. I contacted the folks and Mastermind IT and paid them $20.00 via PayPal. Within minutes they sent me a "master" password that unlocked the machine. It worked and I can change the BIOS now.

Note that I submitted the form at 11:00 PM on a Friday night. The service might be a bot though.
