Bitdefender locates ,locks or wipes your missing computer if it goes online.

Missing laptop incl all product info with sensitive info, i am using Bitdefender free version which i contacted to locate the missing notebook & wipe the notebook since Hp sites are basic with no help locating said notebook though i registered it with Hp. The next time the missing notebook goes online Bitdefender will wipe the entire notebook...sad but true.

Bitdefender is anitivirus. How will it know to wipe the data?

HP offers a service which will wipe data on a lost or stolen laptop, but is isn't Bitdefender.
