Hello,
I have a Samsung Chronos Series 7 and the touch screen suddenly displayed a black bar on the left side, about 2 and a half inches long. This is not a problem with the software as Windows 10 is running perfectly fine in the background. I am fairly certain that this is a problem with the LED cable, but the screen is flushed with the metal back portion. There is no metal basal on the front side.
I am not sure however, if the cable will need to be replaced, or just the connection is loose. If the cable is damaged, then is it easy to replace, or will I have have to take the entire laptop apart?
