More competition is always better. I don't own a BB device but the longer they survive, the better for all. I hope BB 10 and WP8 sells good to get some diversity in the market.
Can't wait... My Old BB is starting to piss me off. And the touch screen devices just don't do it for me. If I need a tablet I will get a f**king tablet, not a phone that I need a man purse to lug around lol...
I'm getting the Bold version. I can't let go of my precious qwerty. Texting/emails/messaging is where BB shines and that what I do with it all day so touch only interface would just be a drag on me. I hope they survive. If they go under then I have no viable alternatives for a quality physical keyboard on a phone.
looking forward to this, will be moving to the bold or new model.
my BB is primarily for text, bbm, emails.. as i do not have interest in the app world, the BB suits me just fine and some.

You come across as a shill for RIM.
In the days when RIM had a BES that nobody could match for pushing business email, that was their edge. Now, everyone has it. They need a new "killer app" to remain relevant.
Just in time for a month after xmas, great timing.
I love how people say Android security sucks. Have you ever been hit by Android malware or just repeating what you read? Do you install random apps from unknown sources? Also great that someone can say something that hasn't even been released yet is better than something that is out. BB10 could have a huge hole that isn't discovered yet.
It's too bad they couldn't get this out in time for Christmas. Missing a holiday season is always a hit when companies release products. I hate to see RIM go. Got a friend who works there and has so far survived the job cuts.
From the dev kit reviews, the whole BB10 OS experience seems to be awesome. They just need actual product with good build quality, good hardware and decent pricing. WP8 phones are highly efficient eventhough the hardware specs are lower than top Android phones, so I hope BB10 phones could show the same result.

Obvious troll is obvious. Just because you own an iphone and always get ripped a new one on the apple/android threads doesn't mean you should come spew your nonsense here on a RIM one as well.
