blank screen when booted up

after i run a disk check on a hard drive.. when i boot up the screen goes blank and nothing happens

i run a disk check on the drive c.. then i restart my laptop, when booting, only a blank screen appears, then when i press any key continuously it will beep everytime.. what's wrong with it? 🙁

nope, after the chk dsk.. it says the volume is now clean.. then it hanged.. so i just removed the plug, then when i switch it on again, all blank screen no booting happened

I think the computer's hard drive is corrupt. Do you have an extra computer to plug the hard drive into?

i have a pc desktop.. ill literally remove my laptop's hard drive? do you think its caused by a virus?

Maybe. What type of connector connects the hard drive (answer this once the drive is out of the computer)?

Sure. The tools you need are a fillips-head screwdriver. Open the laptop by unscrewing the screws on the bottom of the laptop and pulling off the bottom cover. Continue uninstalling parts until you locate the hard drive. Uninstall the hard drive and there you go! THESE ARE GENERIC INSTRUCTIONS! THESE DO NOT APPLY TO ANY CERTAIN LAPTOP COMPUTER! YOUR COMPUTER MAY HAVE A SLOT FOR THE HARD DRIVE!
