Bloatware or third party apps, what can be safely removed?

Win 10 with numerous bloatware and programs installed that I do not recognize. Which ones are safe to remove? I know how, but don't know where they all came from and which ones (typically) can be safely uninstalled without any adverse consequences. Or maybe, more simply, just tell me the ones I DO need to keep and leave alone. Of course, any that come from my PC maker (ASUS) I presume is in that category.

Pratero, we don't know your usage requirements. Items that are bloat to me might be "must haves" for you or may be required depending on desktop VS laptop. You'll need to know what those programs are / do, and then make the decision "do I want / need this?" Look at windows stuff as well, not just the 3rd party programs/services.

To remove / turn off some of the telemetry bloat from slowing down your system:

Unsure of your experience level: for basics using within Windows settings try this video:

One program to help deal with telemetry is W10Privacy.

It takes a little bit for this program to start as it scans your entries already in place. Go...

i have uninstalled EVERY MS store app that comes with win 10 and none messes anything up. this assumes you don't use the app of course. if you want to use xbox stuff, then leave xbox app there and so on. otherwise you can uninstall them all. phone, contacts, and all that other nonsense can go.

same goes for all that acer "support" bloatware. don't need any of that either. delete any of it you wish.
