Solved! Blu ray replacement

I have to replace an old blu-ray, in my motorhome, with rca connections to surround speakers. It has optical but that goes direct to the tv. How do I connect a new blue ray to the wired speakers?

Have not used the 5.1 setup so not sure how well it will work, not all signals through optical are done in full surround.
