Solved! Blue Yeti Microphone Cord Broke Off Inside

EDIT: Problem fixed by buying a new cord from amazon. Mini USB 2.0.

Hi everyone!
The Blue Yeti I use for work appears broken. While I was travelling between work + home, the cord snapped off inside the mic.

I tried using a new mini USB but the device is not recognized by the computer anymore. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Since you tried another cord, next step would be to open the mic and examine the jack for issues, may need to be soldered in place again or replaced. Looks like a pretty standard USB connector that should be easy to find.

I bought a new cord from amazon in case the first one I used only had charging capabilities, not audio. The new cord worked!

I bought a new cord from amazon in case the first one I used only had charging capabilities, not audio. The new cord worked!

USB cords just carry data, not really audio, but there are some charging only cords without data. It should have been labeled charging only though, could have just been a faulty cord.
