Solved! BluRay & mobo/graphics question re Dell Inspiron 1526?

Inspiron 1526 shows ":there is no disk in the drive" when there is one there.

Most likely, you have a dirty or defective optical drive. Does this happen with all inserted media?

?? does the drive recognze cd, dvd and not blu-ray, or does not recognize any media??

When I googled your System found this:

If problem is only with blu-ray, you may also need additional software to read Blu-ray that did not come with the system (ie you installed the Blu-ray drive.).
