Solved! Bookshelf Speakers, Subwoofer, PC/iPhone

Hello, I am not an audiophile at all, or do I really understand how to connect everything having to do with speakers together. Currently, I am looking into getting bookshelf speakers

I was wondering how I would be able to connect all of this to a PC or iPhone via 3.5mm jack and also if I needed any more adapters/converters/DACs/AMPs/soundcards to maximize my listening experience out of the not so sound heavy PC and iPhone.

Since the bookshelf speaker are passive you are going to need an amplifier for them. If you get one with a subwoofer output then you can connect the power sub there. If the amp has a built in USB Dac you could connect the PC that way and bypass the mobo/soundcard.

The standard path is: All Sources (PC,phones,TV) ---> 2.1 Receiver ----> Speakers.

This is the most flexible path and substitute 2.1 Receiver with AVR if surround is in your near future.
