Having trouble hooking up my 10-12 year old BOSE 321 SYSTEM to my 55" SAMSUNG TV. Maybe somebody with a graphic....that would be appreciated...

I believe you have an optical audio input on the Bose. TV has optical audio output. You need a Toslink audio cable.
You may have to turn the optical output on, the TV speakers off, and change the audio output type in the TV menu to get it to work.
