Bose CineMate Series 2 watts and ohms?

Solution
Since it is a package system Bose feels no need to give you any specifics about the individual parts.
If you need to use the speakers with a different system you would have to be careful as some Bose are 1.2 ohms which will blow up receivers and amps, If you own a multimeter measure the DC resistance across the terminal of the speaker. Your reading will be lower than the nominal impedance give in a speaker spec but will be in the general area.
Here is some info on doing that

As for power handling it probably won't handle much since the entire system won't draw more than 75 watts from the wall outlet and only a small part of that is turned into amplifier...
Apparently, not published by the manufacturer.

I've searched the product page thoroughly & read the "Owner's Guide" - - there are surprisingly no detailed product specifications in it. By comparison, my ten-year old Technics system manual has three pages of specs - - it seems that Bose like to keep such information secret.

As a guess you probably need 10-20 watts into the impedance of the speaker.
