so I bought an Asus notebook laptop from a Hotshot they did not give me a USB restore device and it does not have a CD drive how can I factory reset it so I can get back into my computer since I have forgotten my password it's a asus x502c

Sounds like you have a stolen device. demand a refund and get something from a real store

Does it have a factory restore option when you boot it? If not, you need to find a Windows disk and use the key on the laptop to activate it. Disk and key have to match versions.

For any used PC, your first move should be a full wipe and reinstall of the OS.
If the store did not give you the necessary bits to do this, they did not sell you a valid OS. Time to buy your own.
