Great news for all the Apple TV users out there, the Boxee team has just announced that it will be offering the alpha software to all Apple and Ubuntu users.

"Unfortunately, the software is not currently available for Windows users, but a version is reportedly in the works."

That brought tears to my eyes and joy because this is actually the first time I've seen a product that is available to Apple and Ubuntu and NOT yet for Windows.
