If the SS is able to do all of this in such a short time, why cant they find the internet email spammers and if there in the country, bring them to a special place and waterboard them until dead, and if they are in another country, ban the spammer from ever entering the US

[citation][nom]santeana[/nom]How is calling someone a prick threatening anyone? Nowhere in anything I've read has anyone said that the kid threatened the pres. Just that he called him a name. If anyone has a link to this email then please post it and show me how he threatened anyone...[/citation]

Without seeing the actual email, without knowing what is in there, no one knows. Hell, from what I have heard the kid himself was too drunk to remember (maybe he didn't want to let people see what all he wrote as it would not get him so much sympathy). Skynews says it was calling him a "P****", but didn't release any more details.

Considering the police said it was full of abusive and threatening language, I think Skynews might not have had the full email at their disposal.

Also considering many people in America have called him worse names, I think this is a case of "not having the full story" and not one where he gets his panties in a bunch.

Remember, threatening the President of the United states is a FEDERAL OFFENSE. You do NOT dick around with the commander in Chief's life.

[citation][nom]captainnemojr[/nom]Didn't Obama call someone a Jackass? Weird how you can burn US flags and it's protected speech and stuff but a drunken email with a bad name call in it gets a ban-for-life?[/citation]

It's a piece of cloth; get over it. And I have a feeling that this kid did a little bit more than call the president a bad name. Hence the reaction by the government.

@surfer1337dude

There is no amendment that grants a right of happiness. You're thinking of the declaration of independence not the constitution

[citation][nom]Strider-Hiryu_79[/nom]I can't bring myself to believe this story. Especially after a quote such as that. Was he still drunk when they quoted him?[/citation]

It may be hard to believe but Brits do still speak like that.

[citation][nom]lakelucid[/nom]I want to know how many foriegn media personels are banned all over the world writing bad things about Obama.[/citation]
The same number as the ones banned for bashing Bush 1&2, Clinton, Reagan?

[citation][nom]bsbsbsbs[/nom]Where'd he get the email address from?[/citation]
Umm, one of the things Obama made public when he took office was an email address to email him directly. Though as you can see, the email is filtered.

It is passive filtered by the NSA. all communications that passes over the ocean is monitored by the NSA. They look for certain key words... and im sure the presidents name is one of them. trust me....

there I was think that the Americans were all for free speech - FAIL!
