Brand new out of the box doesn’t turn on

Sceptre brand new 39” tv out of the box won’t turn on

Take it back to the store and get a replacement. It is likely DOA( Dead on Arrival )

Make sure the power cable is firmly inserted. It may not be fully seated.
If that's not it, then yes, you'll need to return it. DOA units are rare, but they happen. Sorry if you got one.
