Question Bright spot on my laptop screen. Dunno how or when it happened, but just yesterday I noticed it.

I honestly kinda wonder if it's normal for something like this to happen since I practically baby my laptop (I dunno if putting the charger on top of the lid while storing it in the bag or the weird towel with water droplets and microfiber cloth combo cleaning thing I did yesterday caused it)

When you see it, it's hard to pretend you didn't. I don't know if this was there the whole time since I mostly connect my laptop to the TV.

I've had it for three years now so there's no way it'll still be in warranty.

I have a work laptop (Surface Pro) that has a similar issue. Since I use with a docking station and external displays, 99% of the time, I don't notice it.

Short of replacing the display, there isn't much else that you can do to resolve.
