Broken Charger port HP Pavilion G6

The port was fine all day but now it's almost 1:10 in the morning and it won't go all the way in. It's like something is in there blocking it

I'd really like some help. I can't tell my Mum or Dad (Who will just yell and scream at me when I bought the laptop with my own money)

I bought this laptop over a year ago and so far it's only had one issue

Have you looked in the port to see if anything is bent, shifted, stuck in there, etc? Also, check the cord. Is anything bent, moved, etc.
