Browsers unable to connect to the Internet

I have a working internet connection but browsers are not being able to connect to the internet. this has been a serious problem as I have not been able to browse anything from my PC although other apps are working completely fine.

can you try this quick fix first? open your command console as admin (press winky+s. type "cmd". press ctrl+shift+enter) type "netsh winsock reset". restart. this will basically clean your internet settings.

tahts all. can you access your sites? im guessing its not working still. have you tried letting your windows fix it for you. press winkey+i. update & security. troubleshoot. internet connections. restart.
