Budget Laptop for Graphics design student

Hi

I'm about the enter my first year into university, and I am on a low budget for a laptop

My budget is about $500 USD.

I will be majorly be using programs such as Photoshop and some 3D editing such as 3DS Max, on top of regular internet surfing. I don't really intend to play games on the laptop. I live in Australia, so it would be nice if I could easily get my hands on the laptop in Australia.

It would also be great if you guys can inform me on what I should be looking for in the laptop.

If you can, you should get an i7 series cpu and use integrated graphics, but I don't know if you can find those on the market particularly in that price range. Are you using vray or iray to render in 3dsmax?
