Budget Laptop for only $550!!! but its an acer....

Found this laptop for only 550 bucks, had a strict 700 buck limit, but only at $550 could this be the best laptop?

gt 840m not bad. Should play most games at medium settings and stuff like Warcraft at high.

only down falls are its a i5 (1.7ghz) and its an Acer. But for this price, I dont think you can beat it.

Would love to hear feedback before recommending this to my sister for her school/gaming needs.

The Core i5-4210u can reach 2.7GHz when one core is used or 2.4GHz when both cores are used when stressed.

Acer is an ok brand. They are generally value oriented laptops. I tend to purchase higher end laptop name brands, but that does not mean those do not have issues either. For example, the GT 550m in my Lenovo Y470 died about 18 - 20 months after I purchased the laptop which only had a 1 year warranty.
