Hello, I am looking to make a laptop with a budget of £500.
Is it better to use any motherboard or a barebones laptop. If so, then how would I start and where would I get the parts from? (A web address anywhere or shop name in U.K. would be fine)
I'm looking to make a thin laptop with at least 4GB ram, intel core i3/i5 processor and 200+GB hard drive HHD or 32+GB SSD. Screen size under 16"
Cheers :)

Well, you're unlikely to find a barebones at that price; generally manufacturers assume if you are going to, something that doesn't often happen, you'll be wanting a high performance system. So, the price will be considerably higher.

youd be hard pressed to make a laptop alot of places do not sell barebones laptops first of all and youd be best to just buy one for that price
