Dear Community,

I would like to spend up to £1000 in building my own customised laptop. What are my options?

Ideally I would like to know if this would be a simple process? I have looked over some alienware laptops but have no experience in using them but not sure on how well they perform.

Is it worth the hassle?

How do you mean build your own laptop? like buy broken ones and patch them together?

I mean like customise everything, is there a blank case I can start with and then have an ultimate pick of every part?

Would you elaborate on Alienware? Is it a bad product/too expensive? Consider I am living in the UK

Do these guys ship to the UK?

Hi guys, many thanks.

Looking at the price ranges, I have decided to opt out of buying a high-spec laptop as it would not match my needs for the price-tag.

I will deferr instread to buy a budget laptop with an i5 and upgrade with an SSD for a fraction of the price as I am confident with the current die-shrinking trend id be seeing better models in the enar future.
