built in speakers

I have built in speakers there are 2 white cables from the wall I have a tv/cable/vcr connected how can I connect the speakers

Sounds like you will need a stereo or surround sound receiver depending on the audio outputs of the cable box (if it has left and right analog audio outs then you can use a stereo receiver). If it only has digital audio out you will need a surround receiver with digital inputs. If the TV has variable audio outputs then you could use a basic power amp (this has no controls on it).
