Solved! Built-in webcam flickering - Vaio E15

Hi,
I have been facing issues with my built-in webcam, its been flickering at lot during zoom calls and also in normal camera app. Company had initially replaced the motherboard and display cable but after replacement the issue occurred again after few days. Sadly Vaio support is very poor in India, can any of you help me fix this issue or let me know what maybe causing it. I am attacting a small clip where i show the problem.

I suspect a hardware problem. Frankly, I would not try to fix it. I would purchase an inexpensive web cam that I can hang on the top of my screen and plug into a USB port. Some issues are not worth fighting.

Laptop is still in warranty hopefully vaio will resolve the issue but looking at history of after sale service i dont think they care.

Good luck getting it repaired. One thing to remember is if they need to replace the motherboard, they may also replace your drive and you will lose all your files. Make sure you have a backup before you send it in for service.
