HP dv6t $1,074.99 (after coupon code: NB119)

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
* 3rd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3612QM (2.1 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache)
FREE Upgrade to 6GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
Microsoft(R) Office Starter: reduced-functionality Word/Excel(R) only, No PowerPoint(R)/Outlook(R)
* NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 650M Graphics with 2GB GDDR 5 video memory
500GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
NO mSSD Hard Drive Acceleration Cache
No additional security software
* 30% off 9 cell Lithium Ion Battery
* 15.6-inch diagonal Full HD Anti-glare LED-backlit Display (1920 x 1080)
SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
HP TrueVision HD Webcam
802.11b/g/n WLAN
* Backlit Keyboard with numeric keypad

The options with * are the options that I changed. The FHD screen is a very nice matte screen. The GT 650m should be able to play your games on medium at 1080p and definitely will at lower resolutions. And the 9 cell battery will give you the added portability.

Another option which is a little more portable is the dv4t. HP's 14" laptop. My wifes is great and gets in between 6-9 hours of internet use with an SSD in it and lowering the contrast while working but once that 650m kicks in I get like 1-2 hours of gaming on battery.

Then there is the Y580 that has a GTX 660m but that only gets around 4-5 hours of light use but it runs 999.99 over at lenovo. Your best bet is to check out junky's site, http://www.gaminglaptopsjunky.com and look at the price ranges and read a couple of articles.

Yes they are both a safe place to buy.

The 2 websites are the same price unless you pay in cash. I have heard mixed things about there customer service. If you go from xoticpc though remember the OS. But the sager computer does not have a discrete GPU which means you wont be able to play the games you listed except maybe on low. The 14" asus with the GT630 on xotic pc might be able to play BF3 on low. IF you want to game you need to spend more cash and get the alienware or get a 15.6" screen.

A 650m is more than capable of playing bf3, even if you can only do it on medium settings and it will handle lol as well. This is more so the case at lower resolutions such as 1366x768. Even at full 1080p it should be able to handle low to medium.

As for bf3 on a MBP. I am not sure if it runs on os x but I do know that you can dual boot and have windows installed and use that with the MBP hardware. But when you look at the specs you can get the same components, minus a high res retina display, in a windows laptop for a lot cheaper with out the apple tax that is tacked on to all their devices.

Well I think this will trump everything previously listed as they only have 650m's. It's what I got and I'm satasfied with the laptop. The processor is the i7-3610QM and the GPU is a 660m. You can get it with a 1080p screen too and a ssd for under $1300. If you want you can even get one for as low as $850 but then the screen is lower resolution and no SSD. Now for what it is, Lenovo Y580.

I mentioned the Y580 in my first post (actually the very first response in this thread). It's a great laptop for the price, but only gets you about 4-5 hours of light usage and it's 15".
