Buying A Good Webcam Under $40

So my Mom but a webcam, a Logitech C270. It broke immediately. (Could that have been just a fluke? Would it be OK to buy another one?)

Now she wants to buy a new one.

Anyone know of a webcam under $40 that can deliver decent 720p image quality and is sturdy and doesn't break easily?

Try returning it to the store if it's within 30 days (varies by country and even state), or take advantage of the manufacturer's warranty if it's withing the period (usually ~90 days). Nothing beats free right?

Of course, that's only if the issue is a defect, not abuse. If someone broke the camera, consider one that solves the issue rather than worrying about quality, since any quality is better than another camera breaking the same way.
