Buying a laptop: Asus Vivobook S15 vs Acer Swift 5 14"

Can't decide between these two. Obviously they are not the same size, but both are ultrabooks and similar in weight.

The reason why I'm posting is I wonder if there is any reason about the Vivobook NOT to buy it? Obviously it's not the Zenbook and this (budget) version is mostly made of plastic. Both seem pretty good quality. The specs are very much the same, although the Asus has a better processor.

Also I'm really not sure if I'm ready to go down in screen size from my 15,6". I'd appreciate the smaller size/better portability, especially in weight. But I guess the Vivobook is pretty small compared to other 15" laptops due to the good screen to body ratio...

I guess the only question you can answere here is; is the Vivobook series good enough quality?

Asus uses newest CPU which has more cores so better performance.

On top of that ASUS brand has a higher build quality than acer typically does.
