Buying MSI GS60 or Acer VN7-591G? Different VRAM

Hello,
I want to decide whether to get the MSI GS60 or the Acer VN7-591G.
Both have almost the same specs(UHD, etc) and same price.
The only difference is the MSI GS60 has GTX 960M with 2GB, while the Acer VN7-591G has the 960M with 4 GB.
So I don't know about how much VRAM is needed etc.

I want to use the laptop for mutimedia, some CPU-using stuff but also for gaming.
Which one should I get?

You don't need 4 gb on card like 960m as its not fast enough to ever use it. 2 gb of vram is fine for that card. I would take Acer VN7-591G as find that it's design is better than gs60 and considering the specs are identical.

I would go with msi as you won't need the 4 gigs of vram for the 960m as it is not strong enough to use it.

what about the models? any problems with cooling, or some other things?

Get the MSI GS60 one if you want it for school and need mobility while keeping some gaming power.

Get the msi gs60 the one that you have mentioned. They don't have problems with cooling. Only the apache and the ghost has this as they are incredibly thin.
