I was wanting some advice as far as what you guys would recommend. I'm getting ready to purchase a gaming laptop, primarily to replace my ageing desktop computer.
I was really leaning towards something with SLI, and looking for the 2,000-2,600 price range. I've been eyeing the MSI GT80 SLI-071, but I was wanting some extra opinions, and that is a bit high on my price scale.
What were your opinions? Is there a better place where I could get that a bit cheaper?
I also wanted that portability isn't a huge issue for me, so the larger/beefier laptops aren't a turnoff. Yes, I want to be able to port it around, but I'm currently used to lugging around a 17" beast for a laptop for work, so I'm used to that. My main concern is future proofing it as much as possible since I only tend to upgrade my rig every 5-7 years or so.
