buying new stereo receiver

Looking to buy new am/ fm stereo receiver that will only have CD player hooked up to it . Want only wireless speakers for it Any suggestions for both

Receivers are designed to drive passive, wired speakers, whatever you end up with, most likely needs additional bluetooth transmitter to drive your wireless.

You don't need a stereo receiver at all IF CD is your only source and plan to use wireless speakers only.
You can connect a BT transmitter directly to the CD player.
None of the functions of the receiver are useful to you.
If you use something like Sonos, DTS PlayFi or Denon Heos you can connect the CD to one of those and use them to send the music to matching speakers in other rooms. These also can access streaming sources and play all your CDs without a player if you rip them and put them on your network.
