by mistakenly my laptop hard drive got formatted how can reinstall windows can some one help me to reinstall windows i do have the windows cd with me but unableto boot it form the menu

check your vendor web site on your laptop. most laptop vendor now make a second partion on a hard drive they call restore or back up. most time at power up you hit a f key and the restore starts. with some windows cd if they say upgrade on them they dont boot.
