Cable no sound

My cable won't have sound right now, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, how do I get the sound on because there is a show I want to watch.

If you have a cable box the first thing you try for any problem is to reboot it by unplugging it from ac. If you have sound from outside the TV (soundbar or surround system) you can try switching the input and then back to the one you use. This can relock the audio.
