Cable to connect toshiba a80 to tv

Hello,
What cable do I need to connect a toshiba satellite A80 laptop to a panasonic tv with the white, red, yellow ports? Thanks

your laptop has VGA and S-video ports, both are analog
your tv has regular analog av port (yellow) + stereo RCA sound (red + white)

you probably need an S-video to A/V cable

If your TV has an S-video port, use that instead. You'll get a much better quality picture compared to the composite connection.

Thanks a million for that. I was wondering if you would be able to explain what an S Video port looks like. Sorry about this. I'm not very up to date on plug ins!!!

The S-video looks like a circle with 4 pins at the top and a rechtangular plastic lock at the bottom part.
