Cable to element tv from wall

I have an element tv and I am having issues get my cable from the wall hook up. I hook it all up, do a scan for channels and n

If the cable from the wall isn't for an over the air antenna then your TV may not have a QAM cable tuner built in or your cable provider doesn't have any unencrypted channels.
If it is then the problem could be the connection to the antenna or the antenna itself may be bad or not oriented in the right direction.
