camera memory full

samsung digimax S700 says its memory is full. I can't see any icon or anything for emptying it. Can you help?

If you can connect it to a PC or laptop, you can save the contents to the computer and make space at the same time. Most cameras come with a USB lead for that purpose.

When I connected my camera to the computer it didn't even acknowledge its existence. I tried a new memory card and that doesn't work either.

Any other ideas?

Ah - it has a removeable card - that's helpful. You could connect that to a PC without the camera's involvement. If it's a Micro SdCard, buy a carrier to convert it to a full size card.

That will show up as a drive and give you access to the photographs.

Still no luck!

Did you see any error messages? If it didnt show up as a drive in Windows Explorer but look in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management to see if it shows as a disk?

Can yousee photographs you've taken when you view them in the camera?

I can see the photographs OK on the computer but not in the camera. Will try what you recommend. Many thanks for your help.
